Giraffe Hearing is an independently owned and operated hearing health center. We have been serving the Tucson area since 2001, helping people to hear better with whatever hearing concerns they may have. Hearing Tests & Free Hearing Screenings
We administer comprehensive hearing evaluations with state-of-the-art equipment. Hearing tests are an important part of your regular medical checkup routine. Whether you think you might need hearing aids, custom hearing protection, or just haven’t had a hearing test in a while, we can provide the most accurate results possible.
The non-profit Better Hearing Institute, as well as the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), recommend getting a hearing test once every decade until age 50, and once every three years thereafter. Those in high-risk professions or with a medical history that would indicate a higher risk of hearing loss should be tested even more frequently.
It’s important to catch hearing loss early so that you can implement changes in your lifestyle or hearing protection to prevent further hearing loss, going forward. If you have hearing loss that would indicate a need for hearing aids, it is important to start wearing them right away.
We also provide free hearing screenings! A hearing screening is a simple test that helps determine whether your hearing ability is in good shape, or if further testing may be necessary.
